Challenge

Shaker was asked to create a campaign that would:

  • Increase retention of college students
  • Encourage existing employees to pursue a college education through the Earn and Learn® Program
  • Communicate the opportunities available to college students in the Earn and Learn® Program after graduation

Solution

In order to attract attention and build recognition for the program, Shaker provided very direct messaging. Through a variety of pieces, we convey that UPS offers:

  • Financial assistance for tuition, books, and other education-related expenses.
  • Flexible schedules designed to work around classes
  • A bus system to transport employees from school to work and back

Results

UPS was pleased to see an improvement in their retention rates for college student employees, as a result of this targeted campaign.
