Ah, discovery: It’s how all good things are uncovered. So it is with the branding process. We become as smart as we can about you. We watch, listen. We pay attention. Closely. We review your “stuff”—Web site, reports, collateral, any research you have. We arrange discussions, focus groups—we do what it takes to uncover what it’s like to “be” your organization.

It’s exciting to identify and express a brand. After discovery, we prepare a Creative Brief (sounds official, eh?) outlining what we learned—goals, key messages, personality, target audience, and the like—that serves as a directive for our teams of writers, graphic artists, and Web designers. Then we set these creative people loose to craft how that will look and sound.

During discovery, we’re also investigating how your target talent behaves and communicates. And our client services and media teams strategize accordingly.
