The company Appleton will cut 75 more positions from its workforce, most at its headquarters and plant, the company announced recently. All the positions are salaried. The reductions will include voluntary and in-voluntary terminations, said the manager of corporate communications. Weak demand for paper products and unprecedented increases in costs for raw materials, energy and transportation were cited for the job cuts, which are in addition to an equal number of full-time cuts of hourly staff announced on Oct. 27.
