As Vice President of Shaker’s Health Care Division with over 30 years of experience, Jerry Digani is a "hands-on" Account Manager who will provide overall guidance and coordination for the team, create integrated media strategies, keep you abreast of new initiatives in recruitment, and oversee all advertising projects. Jerry’s experience spans a number of recessions and workforce shortages, giving him excellent perspective in changing times. He has seen health care recruitment activities evolve, from the simple Sunday metropolitan newspaper advertisement to the development and implementation of long-term, targeted strategies that utilize a full array of traditional and non-traditional recruitment advertising vehicles. Under Jerry's leadership, Shaker Recruitment Advertising & Communications was the first agency to regularly utilize direct mail, e-cards, movie theatre, cable television and transit advertising in the development and implementation of health care recruitment marketing and branding campaigns.
Jerry is a frequent speaker for trade organizations including the Southern Classified Advertising Managers Association, Chicago Metropolitan Workforce Board Healthcare Summit, North Carolina Healthcare Human Resource Administrators, Chicago Area Healthcare Recruiters, West Coast of Florida Health Care Recruiters and the National Association of Rehabilitation Agencies. Jerry serves as Account Manager on key health care accounts including St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, The University of Chicago Hospitals, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, Centegra Healthcare, and Vista Health. Jerry has a Bachelor's degree from Marquette University and is a member of CAHR, NAHCR and ASHHRA.
