CareerBuilder.com, the nation's largest online job site with more than 23 million unique visitors and over 1.5 million jobs, released the results of its latest survey, conducted by Harris Interactive, tracking projected hiring trends for 2007. The survey, titled "2007 Job Forecast," was conducted from Nov. 17 thru Dec. 11, 2006 of 2,627 hiring managers and human resource professionals in private sector companies.

The CEO of CareerBuilder.com said recent reports from the U.S. Dept. of Labor support a sense in the market that the economy is slowing at a gradual, reasonable pace and inflation has steadied. This bodes well for job creation as economists and employers alike predict a moderated, yet stable, hiring environment to carry over into the New Year. 40%
