For over ten years, Mark has been actively involved in philanthropic outreach endeavors with local, national and international not-for-profit agencies. Serving as Co-Director of the Shaker Family Charitable Foundation at Shaker, Mark encourages employee involvement in community outreach. Mark speaks to a number of businesses and community organizations to emphasize the importance of personal and business-related community involvement.

Mark has served as the Assistant Director of the Hole in the Wall Gang Camp (created and led by actor/philanthropist Paul Newman) and as Director of the Hephzibah Children’s Camp. He is the Founder and Director of Ryno Kid Care NFP, a not-for-profit organization that collaborates with baseball Hall of Famer Ryne Sandberg to service over one thousand families each month by providing home-cooked meals, mentorship and tutoring, parental support and creative arts activities. Mark has a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
