Sanford Corp Closing WI Plant; Moving to IL

Sanford Corp. says it's closing the southern WI facility where it customizes pens for corporate clients, and is moving about 150 jobs to IL & Mexico. Sanford owns Parker Pen & is a subs. of Newell Rubbermaid in Atlanta. It informed Janesville workers of the news. It says manufacturing and distribution operations will be transferred to Mexicali, Mexico by March of next year, while most administrative work will be shifted to Sanford's Oak Brook, IL headquarters.
