Following suit with the latest signs of recession, Warehouse Associates LP, of Lima, announced recently to its staff of more than 100 employees that severe cuts of up to 100 workers are coming in the near future. Losing crucial business from Procter & Gamble in June, Warehouse Associates will be forced to default on its long-term lease at its 2000 N. Sugar St. warehouse and abandon operations. It will take a "skeleton crew" to its Kibby Street facility in hopes that new business will save the company that ultimately faces the realistic threat of closing in the near future, according to management.
