University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston

Approximately 3,800 full-time jobs will be cut at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston (UTMB), mostly at John Sealy Hospital, Galveston's only hospital. Hurricane damage and pre-storm financial issues have taken a huge toll on the medical facility.
