Qwest Communications International Inc., is closing its office, cutting 58 jobs, a spokeswoman says. The Bismarck office is expected to close soon. She said service will not be interrupted to Qwest customers. The Bismarck jobs are among more than 300 Qwest jobs in North Dakota. Denver-based Qwest is a telephone service provider in 14 mostly Western states.
