Passaic School Board:

Facing greater contractual obligations and two years of flat-funding by the state, the Passaic School Board reluctantly adopted a budget recently that eliminates 164 full-time positions and cuts $7.4 million in non-salary costs. Most of the 164 position cuts were support teachers and staff, not in-class teachers.
