MVP Group International Inc.

MVP International, which owns Olde South Candle Company, laid off 91 workers at the Mayfield factory, citing the economy. The factory cut back from three shifts daily to one. Employees learned of the layoffs, which took effect immediately, in a meeting after arriving for work recently.
