WOLVERINE TUBE, INC.: Wolverine Tube, a maker of copper and copper alloy tubes for commercial products, will close its Decatur, Miss., plant, cutting nearly 500 jobs. It will also close its plant in Boonesville, Miss., eliminating up to 60 jobs there. The company blames the closings on slower sales of its copper plumbing tubes used in residential construction. 11/19
