GM recall 900 to make crossovers in Lansing
GM says it will recall 900 workers at a factory near Lansing because of increased demand for the Buick Enclave, Saturn Outlook & GMC Acadia crossovers. The automaker says it'll add a 2nd shift to the Delta Township plant starting Aug. 24 by recalling laid-off workers. GM says added shift will stay on indefinitely. It also canceled plans to shut down the Spring Hill, TN plant for an additional week in August because of increased demand for Chevrolet Traverse crossover.
