Lockheed Martin Corp. said recently it plans to cut 50 to 100 jobs at its aircraft refurbishing operation at the Donaldson Center industrial park in southern Greenville County. Lockheed Martin said the jobs are being eliminated to "better align the organization with the current business environment." The Bethesda, Md.-based defense contractor said it expects its workload at Donaldson Center to grow once military aircraft return from overseas deployment towards the end of the year. Recently, Lockheed Martin had 877 of its own employees at Donaldson Center and another 53 contract employees, a company spokesman said.
