A union says 150 workers at a western Pennsylvania window plant are losing their jobs. The union for workers at Kensington Windows in Vandergrift says the workers got a letter telling them not to report for work. The plant is about 35 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. The plant is owned by Jancor Co. of Ohio, which says only that workers will get more information when it is available. KDKA-TV is reporting that a letter on the door of the plant says the company regrets this action but Kensington hasn't been able to get the financing needed to stay in business. The sign says that's why the company closed so suddenly without more notice.
