Interstate Logistics Inc. said it expects to shed about 90 employees in Secaucus. The company reported the planned layoffs to the New Jersey Department of Labor and Workforce Development in line with state law and the federal WARN Act., which requires companies to give workers 60 days' notice of a layoff in some circumstances. Interstate Logistics Inc. said the 90 layoffs are due to the upcoming closure of its Secaucus facility. The company, in a recent letter to employees that was given to the state, said the cuts stemmed from the "loss of a major customer," which the company did not identify. An Interstate Logistics representative said no one was available to comment.
