Several Fortune 500 companies, including Chicago-area firms, are banding together to create a free new job board that will give users access to all their jobs with just 1 application. The site is called UnitedWeWork.org & launched with sponsorship from Hoffman Estates-based Sears Holdings, Northbrook-based Allstate, Chicago-based Hyatt & Lincolnshire-based Hewitt, as well as AT&T, ADP, 7-Eleven & Starbucks. The site, which doesn't cost anything for jobseekers, is free for up to a year for other companies to post jobs. The site has 350,000 jobs in its database, said QuietAgent Jason Kerr, which is powering the site.
