Holland & Knight LLP, Central Florida's sixth-largest law firm, is cutting 5 percent of its administrative and other non-attorney staff nationwide. Roughly 70 employees will be laid off in what firm executives describe as a strategic business decision to bring staffing levels in line with industry standards. The cuts are not related to the economy or a reflection of trouble at the firm.
