Harland Clarke says 110 employees will lose their jobs when it closes its manufacturing plant in Dallas. Earlier this month, New York-based holding company M & F Worldwide Corp. completed its $1.7 billion acquisition of the John H. Harland Co. M&F Worldwide, the parent company of Clarke American, said it would be integrating the services of Clarke American with Harland and the companies would operate under the new Harland Clarke name. Harland Clarke Holdings Corp. is based in Decatur, Ga. The company provides financial institutions and their customers with check and check related products and accessories, direct marketing services and customer care services.
