Fraser Papers Inc. says it is curtailing production at its paper mill in Gorham, N.H., laying off 167 staff. The Toronto- based company said recently the move is due to rising input costs, "particularly oil and market pulp." Fraser Papers is curtailing production of commodity freesheet paper grades on two paper machines starting soon. Production on another machine at the mill was suspended late in 2007.
