Fleetwood Enterprises announced it will close its Paxinos RV manufacturing plant, leaving more than 325 people out of a job. The news rippled through the community soon after employees were told at a meeting, leaving angry words, further worries about the local economy and, in the words of one worker, "lots of tears." A mere half-mile away along Route 487 sits the vacant Paper Magic building, where 340 employees lost their jobs over the first four months of 2008.
