Dillard's at Hickory Hollow permanently close its doors. In a recent letter to the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development, Dillard's Vice president says 76 employees are expected to be laid off with the store closing. In May Dillard's Inc. released week first-quarter performance numbers. This spring Dillard's announced plans to close under-performing stores, reduce capital expenditures and reduce expenses. Dillard's still has stores in the Green Hills Mall, Coolsprings Galleria, Murfreesboro, Goodlettsville and Clarksville.
