Cooper Tire has said that it is laying off around 150 workers at its facility in Texarkana Arkansas. Cooper Tire had anticipated that the head count at the plant, which employs around 1,900 workers, could be reduced by as much as 500 staff, as it converted the facility to a flexible plant.
