Citigroup Inc. will lay off 145 employees at its Jacksonville location, according to a filing with the state's Agency for Workforce Innovation. Citigroup notified the state of the impending layoffs, which are scheduled to be completed soon. The New York-based financial services company employs about 4,000 workers at its Southside offices, according to the Business Journal's 2008 Book of Lists, making it the eighth-largest private sector employer in Northeast Florida.
