Citigroup Inc. is closing its Brentwood auto services division and laying off about 56 employees. It's the second sizable layoff to hit Middle Tennessee's financial services sector in recent weeks. Citigroup, the parent company of Citibank, filed a notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development recently announcing plans to close its office at 105 Westpark Drive in Brentwood. The division is a regional office that provides underwriting and operational services to auto dealers.
