Layoffs and management reshuffling at Chickasaw Nation Industries in Norman has ushered in a new leader and cut the number of employees almost in half, corporate officials said recently. Wadley said there were about 85 layoffs, but the final number grew to 100 with resignations that haven't been filled. The Norman location now employs 113. The staff reductions included positions in human resources, accounting, billing and bid proposals. All employees who lost their job received severance packages.
