Bremner Food Group

A Ripon cookie manufacturer is planning to cut its employment. The state Department of Workforce Development said Bremner Food Group gave notice of a mass layoff, effective soon, at its Ripon Foods location. It will mean a permanent job loss for 56 production and maintenance employees and nine administrative employees. The state agency said it formed a rapid response team with its regional partner, the Fox Valley Workforce Development Board, to arrange for an orientation session with the affected workers.
