Wal-Mart hiring 550 for Deptford store in South Jersey

Wal-Mart will hire 550 employees for a Deptford, NJ store set to open this summer, it said. The Bentonville, AR-based retailer said it's set up a temporary hiring center at 429 S. Evergreen Ave. in Woodbury, NJ. Applications are being accepted Monday to Friday, from 8AM to 5PM, starting today. Applicants can also apply online here. Store Manager Bill Riiff said jobs available cover all areas of store work, including supervisory positions. Wal-Mart offers health-care insurance to eligible full- & part-time employees, as well as 40(k & profit sharing. Most jobs will start in May to prepare the store for its summer opening. Wal-Mart has 20 stores throughout South Jersey & southeastern Pennsylvania.
