What is your role at Shaker?
As Director, Digital Services I’m responsible for managing a team of talented individuals in the online recruitment space.  Our goal is to service our clients as well as the account executives we work with.  The ever-changing online space is a pleasure to be in tune with because it changes so quickly and new solutions emerge constantly.

Why did you decide to work at Shaker? 
While working for a competitor, I decided to work at Shaker because of the positive word-of-mouth I heard about the agency. I thought I would see what the buzz was about first-hand and, luckily, I was hired.  Shaker has really allowed me to grow, both as a professional and as an individual, during the last five years. 

What is the environment like at Shaker?
Shaker’s environment is a great mix of fun people and challenging projects.  The days fly by due to the constant stream of requests requiring innovative solutions. The youthful exuberance on our team, combined with the intelligence of the industry veterans we have at Shaker provides for a dynamic culture. On top of all that, the agency is family-owned so that adds to the pride we all have in our jobs.

What qualities describe your team?
Fun, intelligent, and hard-working.

What do you find most rewarding about your career at Shaker?
My colleagues could best be described as competitive.  We are always trying to out-perform each other in some manner, while maintaining the teamwork necessary to best serve our clients. The work can be a simple request, which requires speed and accuracy; or a detailed, thought-out RFP, which requires strategic, forward thinking.  We all like to win and that competitive streak comes out in everything we do.  At the end of the day, we are eager to do it again the next day.
