HR Generalist (Compensation/HRIS)

The USF Physicians Group (USFPG) is the multi-specialty faculty practice of USF Health, an enterprise dedicated to making life better by improving health in the wider environment, in communities, and for individuals. HR Generalist - Compensation/HRIS

This full time position with the University Medical Service Association (UMSA) will support the clinical/administrative depts and over 1000 employees of the USF College of Medicine's clinical practice. The HR dept (staff of 10) supports the practice in the areas of recruitment, benefits, database maintenance, salary admin, classification/compensation, employee relations & policy/proc.

This position will support the areas of compensation, job audits, job description development, analyze requests for salary changes, salary survey participation, market data research and assist with position placement analysis, salary administration and HR technical support. Serve as liaison to Payroll, I.S., vendors and contractors. Document and update documentation related to processes followed, question current processes and make recommendations for improved workflow or efficiencies. Knowledge of HR systems including report extraction, maintenance of database tables, record updates and advanced knowledge of Microsoft PC software is required.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree (commensurate experience or PHR certification) in addition to min five (5) yrs experience in Human Resources with emphasis on compensation, salary admin & HRIS (Cyborg preferred). Experience in a health care setting is preferred.
