After completing her Master’s in Communications from the University of Virginia, Cathy Shaker Breit began her professional career at the agency in 1981. She soon established herself as a key voice within the recruitment marketing world and earned the trust and respect of numerous Fortune 500 corporations – expanding the agency portfolio and solidifying the firm’s position as an industry leader. From Account Manager, Cathy was promoted to Sales Manager and then to Vice President in 1995. She became the agency’s Executive Vice President of Client Services in 2005.
At various points throughout her tenure, Cathy has served as key account liaison, media relationship manager, internal sales trainer, and lead strategist for global agency alliances. In her current role as Executive Vice President, Client Services, Cathy oversees the internal workings of the agency across all departments, with special emphasis on new business development and enhanced client relationships.
Cathy’s passion is to enhance an already powerful agency brand. Through strategic hires and continual enhancements to agency processes and partnerships, she continues to streamline performance and create greater levels of adaptability to evolving market demands.
Outside of her work-life, Cathy annually spearheads the nation’s largest fashion show benefitting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and its mission to advance cures and means of prevention for pediatric catastrophic diseases through research and treatment. She is an incurable dog lover and will cruise anywhere a ship is headed – unpack once, but see the world. Cathy is proud of her Lebanese heritage and has travelled to the Middle East five times.
And once she’s your friend, she’s pretty hard to get away from. She has numerous cherished friends from kindergarten that she still is in contact with.
