Dollar General Sets Goal For Hiring 10,000 Employees In May
Shaker client Dollar General is planning to hire 10,000 new employees in May for its store and distribution center locations.
Career fairs to recruit candidates will be held throughout the month including a national hiring fair on Saturday, May 18 at approximately 170 locations for available store employment opportunities in the 40 states Dollar General serves. Hiring fairs at the company’s distribution centers will also be held throughout the month.
Additionally, Dollar General will participate in Florida’s Paychecks for Patriots hiring events for military veterans and their families on Friday, May 10 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Held at 10 Florida Regional Workforce Board Centers throughout the state, this initiative matches companies with immediate job vacancies in Florida with veterans and their families seeking employment as they return to civilian life or explore other career opportunities.
